Include a “{version}” placeholder into a channel notification setting in Runway, and we’ll resolve that to a channel name for each release, using the appropriate release version. And we’ll automatically create the channel when the new release is kicked off.

Our Feature Readiness tab shows the open PRs and project management tickets associated with a release, and our “Ping all pending owners” button sends a notification to the respective owners of the tickers and code in Slack, reminding them that this outstanding work needs to be completed before the release can go out.

There’s a lot of great info inside of Runway, but what if you want to share key summaries with colleagues outside of Runway? We automatically generate release summaries and send them out via email wherever you want post-release. These are fully customizable to suit what your team sees as important, with a range of dynamic tokens that we populate using data from the release.
